The entrance ticket to Valley of The King comes with free entrance to 3 tombs. Among them, my intended tomb was not one of them - KV62, Tomb of Tutankhamun. Visit to the tomb need entra entrance fee.
Sign outside the entrance of the tomb.It is smaller and less extensively decorated than other Egyptian royal tombs of its time, and it probably meant for a non-royal individual that was adapted for Tutankhamun's use after his sudden death.
The tomb was dug underground.
Mummy of Tutankhamun in a climate-controlled glass display case.
Scene from the north wall of the burial chamber.
Much speculation that the tomb was cursed in the midst of the excavation process when death occur among those who involve in the work of excavation.
