Back to Doi Inthanon (7/14)

After enjoying a nutritious meal rich in protein and iron, we set off for Doi Inthanon, which is about an hour's drive away. Is been more than 5 years since I last visited here.

The temperature is 16 degrees Celsius, which is ideal for birdwatching.
Following road 1009 Alley, we observed a female Plumbeous Water Redstart along a stream.
Feeding in the same stream was a White-capped Redstart.
We continued birdwatching along 1009 Alley and made a stop at 8415 Ft Cafe. The tree next to the cafe was bearing fruit and attracted many birds, including a Grey Sided Thrush.
The flowers blooming in front of the cafe were also attracting many smaller birds. Among them was the Green-tailed Sunbird, which is only found here in Doi Inthanon in Thailand.
Mrs. Gould's Sunbird also joined the gathering.
We saw a Dark-backed Sibia grabbing food scraps from the table.
We spotted a few Chestnut-tailed Minlas following the bird wave.
After spending about 45 minutes there, we decided to head over to Ang Ka Nature Trail.
