After the short recharge with lunch and coffee at the Visitor Center, we overheard someone say that bamboo-partridge was spotted somewhere. We decided to give it a try since we have the afternoon free...
This area is also the entrance/exit of another trail - Heng Ling Shan Nature Trail.
The trail cut through a stream.
The water level is not high during this not so wet period.
There are several photographer taking photo on the bridge.
Some part of the stream is totally dry.
I believe it will be a totally different scene during heavy storm during wet season.
There is no sign of the partridge and it is understandable. They usually can be seen crossing the road early morning or late evening. We are just not at the right time and place.
However, we did have some fun crossing this cable bridge that cutting cross the stream.
The sign of spring is near...
We pass by a unit that was abandoned. This is a perfect place for shooting some horror movie! While on our way back to Visitor Center of Dasyueshan. The partridge did cross the road while everyone of us already keep our camera in the bag. So no one get even a single image recorded. Now I have one more added to the list...The Missing List :)
