Little Syueshan Sacred Tree

There are two sacred tree in Dahsyueshan and we so far seen one and we shall visit the next one - Little Syueshan Sacred Tree. We have a quick breakfast and are ready for next part of adventure...
The entrance to the Little Sacred Tree is the end of this cottages. With the blooming cherry blossoms, for person like me never visited Japan for cherry blossom blooming, this is equally good.
Forest Trail at the end of this road will lead us to the sacred tree.
The trail consists of several construction method depends on the environment. Metal grating are added to the steps to enhance the grip during wet season.
Some part are simply using rock to prevent erosion especially on the slope.
Raised wooden platform are found at some part of the trail.
Is really a refreshing experience walking in this forest surrounded by all the tall trees.
Certain part of the trail is just bare... hopefully we don't cause too much pressure on the trees well being stepping and walking directly on their roots.
There wooden bridge is solid enough for 10 persons crossing at the same time. Some might find it challenging to cross these bridges.
After about 40 minutes, we arrived at Little Syueshan Sacred Tree. Don't get fools by the name "Little". They are not little at all... just slightly lower than the one we saw yesterday.
Little Sacred Tree is not the only giant here.
This is quite a huge and tall tree too.
Among these trees top, birds calls can be heard but no an easy task to spot them.
We did see some interesting birds here but too far to have a decent photo.
Once we are out of the forest trail, I saw more birds along this road back to the visitor center. 慢or SLOW in English is the best to describe my speed. Since I am in no hurry to get back to the visitor center, I slowly make my way back and enjoying the cool breeze with beautiful bird chirping along the way. This is life!
