After the short (only 1.5km away) but satisfying walk to Syushan Sacred Tree, is time to go for lunch. May be due to the cooler temperature, always feel like eating something...
Saw this sign only when we completed the the walk. Is easy to get in, all the way down slope but will need double or triple the efforts to get back up again. We proceed back to the Visitor Center for lunch.
We spent some time around the flowering tree infront the visitor center and we don't have to wait long to see this Taiwan Yuhina.
We decided to go back to KM22.5 where we first saw the Swinhoe's pheasant. Another flock of Taiwan Yuhina make an appearance and helping themselves with the fruits right at our eye level.
As the weather getting hotter, we turn our attention to the small stream near the rocky slope. There are lots of activities going on and we first saw Taiwan Yuhina taking shower in the water.
Black Throated Tit sharing the water with Rufous-faced Warbler.
Just when we are busy watching the Black Throated Tit, a Mountain Hawk-Eagle fly cross above our head.
Another Rufous-faced Warbler waiting for his turn to take shower at the stream below.
Attracted by the fruits, this Vivid niltava take his own sweet time enjoying the fruits.
More beautiful birds!
