Many Faces of Barred eagle-owl

After spending 2 days in Krung Ching Watwerfall, is time to head back to Krabi for a night in order to catch my flight back to Singapore. While on the way to Krabi, we stop by at a rubber plantation to try our luck.

This Southern Thailand trip has been a real good one for me. Looks like my good luck is continuing... see what I found! A not so common nocturnal bird - a Barred eagle-owl

The owl must have geard our foot steps and open one eye to peep at us.

Since we means no harm, the owl go back to his sleep again.

A sudden strong wind wake the owl one more time.

While the branches still sway in the wind, the owl use the opportunity to do some stretching.

AFter the stretching, the owl seem to be getting ready to go back to his sleep.

We leave the owl and let him continue with his sleep. What an awesome experience!
