Sulawesi Bear Cuscus

The Sulawesi bear cuscus is native to the Indonesian island of Sulawesi.

This species features a robust body, dense fur, and a distinctive bear-like appearance.

Adults typically weigh between 3 to 5 kg and possess long tails, aiding in balance and maneuverability through the trees.

Sulawesi bear cuscuses inhabit tropical rainforests and their arboreal lifestyle requires a habitat with ample foliage and shelter.

They are herbivorous, primarily feeding on a variety of leaves, fruits, and flowers. Their diet plays a crucial role in seed dispersal, contributing to forest ecology.
