Surprise after surprise... this is the impression that I have about Pasir Ris Park. My very first surprise was last October when I have a chance to observe the heronry right here in Singapore!
Since then, from common, uncommon to rare migratory bird(s) keep appearing one after another and it was really a fantastic birding experience. Most migratory birds have left and I was pleased to have met a flock of Chinese Pond Heron 池鷺(Ardeola bacchus) stock up reserves before their long journey home. 
Not just one but whole flock of them!
Wish them a safe journey home!
北方的氣候應該轉暖，這群池鷺應該也是時候回返故鄉了吧。有點令我不解的是，它們都換上了繁殖羽！既然要長途跋涉，為何不等回到故鄉後才換繁殖羽呢？
