Another Exciting Crossover with 蔚藍手札 in Land of Smile, Thailand

The power of internet! Never would I ever imagine that the love of nature brought people from 2 corners of the world together. It all started in September 2010 when I chanced upon a beautiful blog writing about bird watching in Taiwan
Thailand, country rich in culture, beautiful flora and fauna
No matter which part of Thailand you are, be it in the city or country side. You will get to see giant Buddha statue that will enhance your travel photos.
Our first stop will be Kaeng Krachan National Park so we will spend 2 nights here just outside the national park.

This is a rather short but action packed trip! Can’t wait to read about many exciting stories of  蔚藍手札 maiden trip to Thailand!

Chinese New Year at Chinese Garden

Is a long week end for most in Singapore last week due to the Chinese New Year falls on Friday (23 & 24 of Feb). I take this opportunity to visit Chinese Garden for birding.
Pink-necked Green Pigeon (Treron vernans)
A pair of Pink Necked Green Pigeon welcome me at the entrance of the garden. The male pigeon is on the left.
black-naped oriole (Oriolus chinensis)
Follow by this very striking black-naped oriole.
zebra dove (Geopelia striata)
I usually see this zebra dove on the ground but this one was on a tree branch. Uncommon for me...

olive-backed sunbird (Cinnyris jugularis)
