Last Winter at Bidadari?

Bidadari, a defunct cemetery at the junction of Upper Serangoon & Upper Aljunied Road and just next to Woodleigh MRT Station. Construction for this area will be commenced before end of this year. This was one of my favourite birding place during the migratory period from September to February for the last few years.

Sadly, all good things will come to an end. So as this beautiful small pocket of green place. If you have not been there or simply just want to have a look at this place before the massive construction start, go before is changed. I was there last week end for a walk & these are the animals that call it their home there.

There are plan to create a regional park here to retain its hilly & lush landscape. Hopefully these animals will return after the housing construction.

There are a lots of migratory birds fly thousands of miles to get here every year from the north during winter to replenish &  stock up their energy before they return the next year. It will be good if these beauties will still visit here after this place was converted to housing area...
