This is one of the rare occasion that we get to see nocturnal bird in the broad day light. Not just one, but two Large Tailed Nightjar (Caprimulgus macrurus)!

Asian Koel (Eudynamys scolopaceus) are more often heard than seeing them. There are people that got irritated by their call, how about you? I might be biased, I don't find it irritating... :)

Sunda pygmy woodpecker (Dendrocopos moluccensis) usually feed on small insects, caterpillar & worms. However, they feed on nectar too! The woodpecker go straight to the base of the flower to collect the nectar.
