Singapore Botanic Garden, 15 July 2012

Different from yesterday raining the whole day, it was blue sky & a perfect day for outdoor nature shoot. I decided to visit Singapore Botanic Garden since I have not been visit there for a while.
From May to October, with the absent of migratory birds, is now the best time to perfect all the resident birds photo.

Olive-backed sunbird & Javan Mynah are 2 of the very common birds in the garden.
A pair of Common Mormon was chasing each other in the garden.
One of the attraction for me will be this super large floating leaf that next to the ginger garden.
There are lots of rock pigeons in the garden, and visitors are advised not to feed them...
You will get a overwhelming response... (imagine if these are long tail macaque)
The chicks of the Lesser Whistling duck have grown so big. Nevertheless they still stick to their parent.
Another looks alike and - Wandering Whistling Duck can also be found in the garden.
I spend sometime with this White throated Kingfisher... look at the compilation below:
Use some imagination and after 'humanised' the kingfisher, they have so many different mood!!  :-)
